A brief History of Espresso

Luigi Bezzera, the proprietor of a manufacturing company created Espresso at the turn of the century.

Luigi Bezzera was just trying to gather a way to brew coffee quickly.

He figured if he could only add force to the brewing method it would quicken things up.

Thus the "Fast Coffee Machine" was developed. His vision of a fast cup of coffee turned out vastly more useful than he had intended

what he finished up with is a more useful, fuller-tasting cup of powerful coffee, as well as a considerably more rapid method.

He discovered that the faster more efficient brewing technique allowed for the grade of the beans to be dragged as fought to over pullinghe had previously undergone.

In 1901 Luigi Bezzera filed a patent for the espresso device that included a boiler and four "groups".

The term "Espresso" means short in italian, thus the term.
