HBO declines to order a fifth season of Westworld

Jonathan Nolan, the show's creator, recently disclosed that he and his co-creator always intended for Westworld to have a fifth and concluding season.

Unfortunately, it seems they won't get that opportunity since HBO opted not to give the programme a second season.

HBO has announced in a statement that the show would end after four seasons.

Based on Michael Crichton's 1973 sci-fi film of the same name, Westworld is a science fiction television series about a dystopian future.

Westworld received 54 Emmy nominations throughout its four-season run, and 9 of the nominations were for wins.

On HBO and HBO Max, all four seasons of Westworld are still accessible to view.
